WESSEX WANDERER RAILWAY WALKS
The programme for the 2008 Wessex Wanderer Walks (WWRW) from stations on the Bristol – Weymouth railway line is now available: see link below. South Dorset Group members receive a copy with their July – October Walks Programme. In the March – June Walks Programme there are several WWRW walks that are led by South Dorset Group members; usually well supported by Group members. One walk in particular worth mentioning is a circular walk from Maiden Newton on 21 June. This date was chosen to coincide with the ‘Maiden Newton at War’ celebrations and festivities.
